Quantum of Solace Teaser Trailer

Sony has released the teaser trailer for the latest James Bond film, Quantum Of Solace. The teaser will be attached to Hancock, which hits theaters later this week. Filled with flashes of Paul Greengrass/Bourne-style action sequences, fast cars, and hot women, what more could you ask for? It looks totally bad ass. Tell me what you think in the comments below.
Quantum of Solace continues the high octane adventures of James Bond (DANIEL CRAIG) in CASINO ROYALE.
Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, Bond and M (JUDI DENCH) interrogate Mr White (JESPER CHRISTENSEN) who reveals the organization which blackmailed Vesper is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined.
Forensic intelligence links an Mi6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille (OLGA KURYLENKO), a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene (MATHIEU AMALRIC), a ruthless business man and major force within the mysterious organization.
On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the world’s most important natural resources, is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano (JOAQUIN COSIO). Using his associates in the organization, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, giving the General control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land.
In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene’s sinister plan and stop his organisation.

Jason Bourne Goes to South America?

Producer Frank Marshall revealed to IESB plans to begin shooting a fourth Jason Bourne movie next Summer, for release in 2010. Universal announced the project back in February, with director Paul Greengrass and star Matt Damon set to return. Marshall also confirmed that they will probably be creating an original story for the fourth film, since author/creator Robert Ludlum wasn’t involved in the later books in the series.
“There was a fourth book written, but it was not by Mr. Ludlum. So we’re probably going to take our own direction and we’re working on what that storyline’s gonna be right now.”
And where will this new adventure bring us? Marshall is predicting that Bourne will journey to “South America.”
Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass Return for More Bourne

Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass will be returning for a fourth film in the Bourne series.
The Bourne trilogy has made over $945 million worldwide at the box office (the last film, Ultimatum, responsible for $443 million of that total). The films are based on novels by Robert Ludlum, who passed away in 2001. Eric Van Lustbader has since written two sequels to Ludlum’s Bourne series: The Bourne Legacy in 2004, and The Bourne Betrayal in 2007), both of which have received lukewarm reviews by readers. Hollywood might be better off creating their own story to continue the franchise.
Damon is already signed to star in Steven Soderberg’s The Informant and is in talks to star in Clint Eastwood’s The Human Factor, and with Greengrass busy prepping his Vietnam drama They Marched into Sunlight, it could be a couple years before they begin filming.
Discuss: With Bourne’s arc complete in Ultimatium, a fourth film seems rather unnecessary. Knowing this, do you still want to see Bourne return to the big screen?

Matt Damon to be Bourne Again?

A couple months back, Matt Damon was going around telling people, press, and anyone who would listen, that he would not be returning for a fourth Jason Bourne movie.
“We have ridden that horse as far as we can.” He admitted to feeling like “a bit of a prostitute for putting out two number threes in one year.”
Well something has apparently changed his mind, and Damon now seems to be considering the possibility of a fourth film.
“Personally, the character means a lot to me because the character has done so much for my career. You know, it put me in the position where I have a lot more choices of kind of movies I want to make,” Damon told the Agence France Presse in Tokyo. “If Paul Greengrass, maybe years down the road, was interested in doing another one, then I would do it, too,” he said. “I don’t think either of us completely put the character to bed yet.”
The Bourne trilogy has made over $900 million worldwide at the box office (the last film, Ultimatum, responsible for $404 million of that total). So it’s likely that the money is doing a little bit of the talking. The movies are based on novels by Robert Ludlum, who passed away in 2001.
