Deciding to skip out on the photocall for Nelson Mendela’s birthday concert, Amy Winehouse opted to pay a visit to her incarcerated hubby Blake Fielder-Civil at the Pentonville prison on Friday (June 26).

Despite her declining health conditions, the “Rehab” singer made a pit stop at a local shop, checking out the magazines before treating herself to a few mini bottles of alcohol and some sweet treats.

Meanwhile, in related news, “an ex-pub landlord has been cleared of taking a $400,000 bribe to save Amy’s husband from jail.”

Breaking AP reports tell that “a jury at London’s Snaresbrook Crown Court took three hours to unanimously find James King, 36, not guilty of perverting the course of justice.”

King was badly beaten at the hands of Winehouse’s 26-year-old husband and his friend Michael Brown, 25, in an attempt to intimidate him into dropping assault charges.

If you happened to be in Brighton, England last night, you may have noticed that Amy Winehouse was in town.  She played a show at the Brighton Centre, leaving around 2am wearing a black dress with white polka dots and carrying an apple.

And it seems that the “Rehab” singer is devising a plan to get to see her man sooner than previously thought.  Since he’s stuck in the slammer, Amy is planning a gig at London’s Pentonville prison.

Blake Fielder-Civil is being held at the corrections facility until his January court date, and Winehouse has been hysterical ever since he was hauled off by police.

A source told press, “Amy has been in pieces ever since Blake was arrested. She can’t stand the thought of him being alone in prison and wants to play a show there.  She thinks it would be a fitting tribute to him, it would cheer him up and it would also help her cope with being separated from him.”

It sounds logical, right?

Update: Breaking reports tell that Amy has canceled the rest of her tour, with plans indicating a trip to a medical facility. Check back with for a further update and more pictures later today.

Amy Winehouse popped out of her London pad on Thursday to pay a visit to her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder Civil.

For the Pentonville prison outing, Amy wore a black tanktop and a pair of skin-tight blue jeans – reportedly in a talkative/good mood despite the fact that her hubby’s been locked up for months.

In related news, the Rehab crooner has reportedly been offered $1million to perform live at the forthcoming celebrity party at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art Costume Institute in New York on May 5.

According to the Daily Mirror, Giorgio Armani, who is hosting the bash, asked George Clooney and Julia Roberts to help sign up Winehouse, who is said to be “seriously considering” the offer.

“Giorgio has made no secret to his friends that he would love to work with Amy,” an anonymous source is quoted as saying. “He sees this party as an ideal opportunity to sound her out about future projects.”

Following a trip to the Pentonville prison to visit her incarcerated hubby Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse headed on over to a local London kebab shop for a lunchtime snack.

The Rehab singer playfully made a few of her infamous faces and waved to the paparazzi as she chomped on french fries and a sandwich.

From there, Winehouse made her way back to her place - laughingly trying to open her front door numerous times before realizing she was using the wrong keys.

Meanwhile, in related news, Amy’s mom recently revealed to press that her battle with multiple sclerosis has prevented being able to help in the recovery of her troubled daughter.

Janis Winehouse, 52, explained: “I can’t be there for Amy as I would like to be because I have my health to consider. My MS is under control at present, but I know that if I was to get heavily involved in Amy’s problems that things could get worse for me.”

Amy’s mom continued: “I have to keep a lid on what I do. I would like to be there more for Amy but I know, in the long run, it might be better for her to have a mum who is in reasonable health. I just can’t do all that running around to hotels and to wherever there’s been a problem. I physically can’t cope with all the running around that Mitch (Amy’s dad) does to try and keep her out of trouble. I had a relapse recently and I don’t want to provoke another one. Mitch does a great job on behalf of both of us.”
