Amy Winehouse: No Jail Visit, No Rehab
Amy Winehouse: No Jail Visit, No Rehab
Sporting a cute heart-shaped badge with her hubby’s name on it, Amy Winehouse popped out of her London pad to visit Blake Fielder-Civil at the Pentonville prison on Thursday (March 27).
Out for only a short while, the Rehab hitmaker returned home disappointed after being turned away from the prison for showing up late.
Meanwhile, Amy’s rep has been busy over the past 24-hours denying claims that the Grammy winning singer is headed back to rehab.
The rumors kicked off after The Sun quoted a source as saying that “there are too many temptations for her in the UK - people around her in London are making it impossible for her to stay clean for any length of time. Management had considered flying her to a clinic in Israel, but are now looking further a field. They are assessing a clinic in Cape Town in South Africa.”
In response, Winehouse’s spokesperson said: “Amy’s doing well. She is not going back to rehab at this time. The problem is that her face looks bad because of impetigo — it’s not a nice thing, but it’s not related to drugs. It’s a bacterial infection.”

She missed her chance to see her incarcerated hubby after showing up late to the Pentonville prison last Thursday.
And it looks like Amy Winehouse was trying to make up for her tardiness by getting all dressed up for a Monday outing to see Blake Fielder Civil.
Wearing a short black dress with a pair of matching black gloves, the Rehab crooner was seen coming out of her London home to go and visit Blake in the slammer.
Clearly in a rush, Amy used the mirrors on the car to make sure her headscarf was on straight, commenting to the photographers that she was going to “give Blake a kiss today”.
In related news, word is coming forth in regards to Amy’s third studio album, being described as ‘very dark’ by friends who have heard it, with many songs themed around the subject of death.
According to The Sun, Winehouse has hit new lows in her personal life, and her emotions are being reflected in songwriting sessions for the new record.
The newspaper quotes an anonymous source as saying: “Her next album is darker than ever. Her problems are pushing her over the edge and she’s turning into a depressed recluse.
“She’s written quite a lot of the third album already. It is very, very dark but she produces some of her best music when she’s in pain - and the past few months have been hell for her.”

Wearing a colorful ensemble, Amy Winehouse stepped out of her London pad on Wednesday (April 30) - heading off to pay a visit to incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil at the Pentonville prison.
Smoking a cigarette outside her home, Wino got a bit upset as she waited for her driver - as he was late to pick her up.
Meanwhile, recent reports tell that Amy’s managers are now encouraging her to attend Meadows rehabilitation facility in Arizona, the place that housed Kate Moss after her cocaine scandal.
A source said: “She’s already tried rehab over here but the problem is that when she comes out it’s hard to protect her from every waif and stray that makes a beeline for her. Arizona is far away enough for her to get her head together and really focus on her career. She has been working on her album, which is brilliant, but it wouldn’t take much for her to get distracted by bad influences.”
Plans for a trip to the US, however, have not yet been confirmed.
