Teaming up with Sean “P. Diddy” Combs and Ciroc Vodka, E!’s Drive Safe Campaign is all about promoting responsible drinking and offering a solution for people who need a safe ride home.

Kicking off today, the campaign includes on-air spots that feature some of today’s hottest celebrities and faces hanging at one of Hollywood’s most exclusive nightclubs, as well as easy online and wireless access to taxi services across the country.

“Ciroc Vodka is an ultra premium luxury vodka which epitomizes the ‘Art of Celebration,’” says Diddy. “It’s our social obligation to promote responsible drinking and generate public awareness on the necessity of designating a driver. With the help of some great celebrity friends and Entertainment, we were able to create a campaign that will resonate with viewers and ultimately drive home the message that any designated driver is a star. If you plan to drink, plan a cab or safe ride home.”

To ensure that viewers can make that smart decision easily, viewers are encouraged to log on to Online or text “Drive Safe” to 37373 from their wireless devices to receive taxi contact information in their area.

Because when you get down to it, every designated driver is a star.

Katherine Heigl Visits T.R., Finds Lost Dog

Katherine Heigl Visits T.R., Finds Lost Dog

While a booming career and new marriage would be enough to wear most people out, Katherine Heigl is constantly on the go.  And yesterday the paparazzi spotted her out and about running errands.

The “27 Dresses” babe looked like a woman on a mission as she made her way around Los Feliz, California stopping off at her mother’s house before heading over to pal T.R. Knight’s pad.

Upon returning home, Heigl was pleasantly surprised to find that her missing pooch (who had snuck out of her backyard) had been safely returned by a neighbor.

Along with her decision to pull herself out of the Emmy race has come widespread speculation over whether or not she’s leaving her hit show “Grey’s Anatomy.” And hubby Josh Kelley recently told press he’s behind her either way. “I’m always supportive of Katie, no matter what she does.”

300 Sequel News

Collider spoke with 300 producers Mark Canton, Gianni Nunnari and Bernie Goldmann at the recent Saturn Awards and got them to reveal that not only are they working on a Blu-ray edition of the film but they’re also planning a sequel and/or prequel. Frank Miller is busy working on a brand new story and director Zack Snyder says that if they think it could work as a movie, they’re going to make it!

I know some people would prefer 300 to stay as a standalone film, however this is Hollywood. 300 was a surprise hit for Warner Bros, having septupled (x7) its budget, so it makes business sense to jump on the sequel bandwagon.

Mayer Is All About the Music. Mostly

Jennifer Aniston, John Mayer

John Mayer wants to remind everyone that he is, first and foremost, an artist.

After all, it seems that all people want to talk about lately are the musician’s jogging habits, his love for The Goonies and, oh yeah, his blossoming relationship with a certain someone.

So what does he have to say on matters of the heart?

“I don’t have a problem with my privacy as much as I have a problem with people messing with my message,” John tells USA Today. “If you’re going to take pictures of me doing mundane stuff, will you at least take pictures of me playing guitar?”

Right, right, OK…but what about Jen?

“All I can tell you is that I have made every decision in my life with complete authenticity,” says the singer-songwriter when asked about his relationship with the actress. “My feet are firmly on the ground. If you do things from the heart, it feels awesome.”

Well, we were hoping for a little more dish there, John. But we admire the sincerity, so we’ll take it.
