Christopher Knight lights himself on fire

Adrienne Curry and Christopher KnightFor week two of Celebrity Circus, ex-Brady Buncher Christopher Knight will set himself ablaze as he performs “fire clowning.” I wonder how Adrienne Curry feels about this. It’s got to raise some suspicions about your husband’s sanity if he’s willing to set himself on fire for reality TV.

Here’s some of the other stupid things the celebs will be doing this week on the show:

Wee Man battling the German Wheel, the same act in which Knight broke his arm. Wee Man will be paired with trainer Vladimir Sizov for a synchronized act. Stacey Dash will perform on the Cerceau alongside trainer Sacha Fedorchev. Dash will be creating a sexy and high-energy routine flying 50 feet above the ground with no safety line or harness. Antonio Sabato Jr. will push himself to the limit doing a hand-balancing act with his partner and trainer Christine Van Loo. There will be no room for errors as any little mistake could lead to serious injury.

Blu Cantrell will also battle fire and perform fire spinning. The act will integrate fire with dance to create a beautifully visual performance. Janet Evans takes on the flying silks that will take her 40 feet above the ground with no safety harness of any kind. Evans will have to overcome her fears of flying when she performs with trainer Sebastian Stella. Rachel Hunter will perform a new act that is somewhat like the hammock. Hunter will do aerial acrobatics inside and outside of the hammock and will also attempt to carry the weight of her partner Sacha Fedorchev as they fly over the audience.

The premiere episode of Celebrity Circus won its demographic, ages 18-49, last week. Celebrity Circus is airing this week on June 18th from 9:30 to 11 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.

Lindsay Lohan Goes Into Advertising… Sort Of

Lindsay Lohan Goes Into Advertising… Sort Of

There have been rumors running rampant that Lindsay Lohan is getting a bit strapped for cash, due to a lack of work resulting from her addiction problems.

But this story solidifies that the crimson-haired hottie is desperate for dollars - she’s reportedly worked out a deal with a nicotine substitute to be holding the product as she’s photographed by the paparazzi.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, “The troubled Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan is the last person you would expect to be on the receiving end of a little Aussie ingenuity but not everyone has friends like the Australian playboy Andy Valmorbida. After playing host at his family’s marquee at the Melbourne Cup with Rachel Hunter, Valmorbida has returned to Hollywood to work on a deal for Lohan to indirectly endorse a nicotine substitute to help smokers quit. His Aussie friends inform PS the deal requires Lohan to hold the packet of special gum in view of the paparazzi so it can be captured in the frame and published worldwide.”

Between her supposedly selling pictures to photo agencies and now this, you gotta wonder how bad it’s getting for the “Mean Girls” actress.

Rachel Hunter Wants to Help You Get Thin

Rachel Hunter kept up her “Find Your Slim” campaign by hosting a “Style Your Slim” fashion show last night, held at Boulevard 3 in Hollywood, California.

Sponsored by Ultra Slim-Fast, the night consisted of “10 weight loss success stories in a runway show wearing designs by Chloe Dao, the season two winner of Project Runway, in a celebration of setting and achieving realistic weight loss goals, and body diversity.”

Hunter, who entered into the partnership with Slim-Fast earlier this year, is a Slim-Fast success story herself, as well as an “advocate for this campaign because of the positive message it sends to women everywhere to find the weight that is right for them.”

Celebrities joining in on the fashionable fun with Rachel included Kim Kardashian, Jennie Garth, Stacy Keibler, and Jamie Pressly.

NBC’s Circus of the Semistars

Celebrity Circus Cast

Big top? Big whoop.

NBC has unveiled the latest batch of "celebrities" intent on capturing a smidgen of their former glory via reality television, with the Peacock's go-to host Joey Fatone as the literal ringmaster.

Celebrity Circus will feature model-actor Antonio Sabato Jr., singer Blu Cantrell, reality-show returnee and erstwhile Brady boy Christopher Knight, Olympic swimmer Janet Evans, Jackass extraordinaire Jason "Wee Man" Acuna and model/Dancing with the Stars also-ran Rachel Hunter competing in a series of "death-defying" circus stunts. (Note to NBC flacks: Don't make promises you can't keep.)

High wire, fire dancing, flying trapeze and the ominous-sounding wheel of death are just some of the acts the half-dozen has-beens will attempt in front of a live audience beginning June 11. No word yet on what the grand prize will be.

It might not be the greatest show on Earth, but hey, it can't be any worse than quarterlife.
