It’s been well-publicized that rap mogul Jay-Z mentored Rihanna to her current position as the pop/R&B chart topper. And now his longtime girlfriend, Beyonce Knowles, is calling up a few favors from the “Umbrella” singer.
Namely, the “Bootylicious” one is enlisting the services of a new production team to take her to the next level in the studio. Sources say she wants a more “Rihanna-flavored” follow-up to her platinum “B’Day.”
Dance producer duo The Freemasons are all set to work with Miss Knowles, and they’re confident that the collaboration will yield some amazing results. James Wiltshire (of The Freemasons) told press, “The album is going to be huge. It will rival anything the likes of Britney and Rihanna have done recently.”
Wiltshire added, “Beyonce and her team can see where mistakes were made on the last album. It was very American, very R B and stripped back. They want to go for a more international sound this time. She wants to hit as many audiences as possible.”

Beyoncé Knowles and Jay-Z continued along with their post-wedding traveling ways, as the couple were spotted out at a basketball game in Houston, Texas on Friday night (April 11).
Following a Jay-Z performance at the Toyota Center the previous evening, the recently married rap mogul and his pop star bride watched the Houston Rockets beat the Phoenix Suns while sitting alongside Hall of Fame center Hakeem Olajuwon.
Meanwhile, the couple has continued their elusiveness as far as confirming their nuptials is concerned. On Monday night, Jay-Z went out partying without his new wife and refused to comment, replying to a question about the wedding with: “I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
Beyoncé’s sister, Solange, also remained silent while being quizzed by People magazine about last week’s ceremony. When asked if Beyoncé enjoyed being married, Solange replied: “I have no idea!”
After more prying, Solange was questioned about what the big day was like, saying: “I don’t know anything about [a wedding]. You’ll have to ask her yourself.”

Following his third hosting appearance on the popular satire show Saturday Night Live, Ashton Kutcher headed out for the program’s traditional afterparty at the Hill Country Restaurant in New York City.
Accompanied by his ladylove, Demi Moore, Ashton did his best to avoid the press, trying to get in the Flatiron District establishment through two different doors before being directed to the correct entrance.
Once inside, Ashton and Demi joined a large gathering of show workers, friends and fellow A-listers including Demi’s daughter Rumer Willis and Ashton’s “What Happens In Vegas” co-star Cameron Diaz.
Also dropping by to join in on the fun were Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively and rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Jay-Z’s grand opening of the 40/40 Club at The Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas went off without a hitch last night (December 30).
The rap mogul showed up in a tux, but most of the attention was drawn by his girlfriend, Beyonce Knowles, and her sister Solange - who both worked the red carpet looking ever-so stylish.
During the course of the evening, which besides being a grand opening was also a birthday party for basketball star LeBron James, Jay-Z told the crowd: “I just want everyone to have a good time and not get caught up in the whole glitzy pretentious clubbing thing. But I’m up for a big night, and a big year next year. Good things are gonna happen.”
A press report describing what patrons of the club can expect tells: “The 40/40 Club, named after one of sport’s most prestigious achievements - 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in the same season, combines a multi-level ultra sports bar with a chic lounge all under the direction of hip-hop mogul Jay-Z.” Providing the ultimate in sports and entertainment, the 40/40 Club will feature an eclectic menu including The Picnic (fried deviled eggs and southern-fried chicken sticks with the special 40/40 sauce), signature 40/40 burgers, and wings amongst other items. The sports memorabilia amidst the lavish gold and platinum decor will serve as the perfect backdrop for the ultra luxurious sports bar.”
