We all remember Eva Mendes in “Hitch” as the gossip reported working in New York City. Well, she was in the Big Apple again yesterday, and it’s easy to see that this girl loves the city.
The “We Own The Night” actress was first spotted leaving her hotel, on her way to a photo shoot. After that, she came back to her room with a girlfriend.
Later that evening, Mendes emerged in a red dress, headed over to Cipriani Wall Street for a concert.
And while she loves her career, Eva confessed that she seeks counseling in order to properly deal with her celebrity status.
“I see a therapist once a week or I speak to her if I’m not around. And I want to encourage people to go it; it doesn’t mean you are out of control. I just think it’s healthy way to be and even when everything is OK, I still go. It’s great to have somebody who is completely objective coming up with guidelines for you.”

Well known for her generosity, Shakira continued on with her charitable ways by attending last night’s “A Heart For Children” telethon gala in Berlin.
Dressed in a gorgeous red dress, the Colombian sensation not only showed up for the festivities, but she even took to the stage for the worthy cause.
And even though she spends so much of her time with philanthropic endeavors, the 30-year-old Barranquilla native continues to produce award worthy music.
This was made evident by the recent Golden Globe nomination received by Shakira. She’s up for Best Original Song for “Despedia” which was featured in the movie “Love In The Time Of Cholera”.
Shakira co-wrote the track with Antonio Pinto - with the two hoping for a big win when the winners are announced on January 13th.

At the 2008 Oscars, the “Knocked Up” actress received a special honor from Access Hollywood. Nancy O’Dell told Heigl, “You know, you won ‘Access Hollywood’s’ No. 1 best dressed!”
And the “27 Dresses” actress replied, “Yay! That’s Awesome! I’m so very grateful to all those who voted for me, who believed in me, who brought me here today. I wouldn’t be who I am without them. Yay!”

Hayden Panettiere was looking sexy in a red dress while filming a scene for her new movie “I Love You Beth Cooper” in Vancouver, BC.
Joining the Heroes hottie on the Canadian set were co-star Paul Rust and director Chris Columbus, who gave the young stars tips as they worked away.
“I Love You Beth Cooper” is a comedy flick to be released in 2009 and is based on the book of the same name by Larry Doyle.
A plot synopsis tells: “For his high-school graduation speech, a nerdy valedictorian goes all out and declares his love for the popular cheerleader in his class.”
