When you’re a big time celebrity, one birthday celebration is never enough. And though Jessica Simpson turns 28 on Thursday (July 10th), she was spotted getting things started a bit early last night (July 7).
The pop-singer-turned-country was seen enjoying a romantic dinner out at Sagebrush Cantina in Calabasas, California joined by her boyfriend Tony Romo, as well as sister Ashlee and her hubby Pete Wentz.
Clad in a beautiful form-fitting, cleavage-baring purple dress along with a pair of brown leather cowboy boots, Jessica and Co. finished up at the Sagebrush and then headed out to do a little partying.
They decided on the Key Club for drinks and dancing into the wee hours of the night. If her pre-birthday night was this much fun, you gotta wonder what’s in store this Thursday!

After her rough night, you have to wonder if Jessica Simpson is taking her cues from Tara Reid. The “With You” singer was spotted leaving the Key Club in West Hollywood, and it was clear that she’d had enough to drink.
Simpson was aided by her BFF/hairstylist Ken Paves, as well as her Dallas Cowboys stud boyfriend Tony Romo as she made her way to the waiting SUV.
Jess was at the Key Club for a Metalskool concert (they’re a 1980s metal band)… not really the kind of gig you’d expect her to be at.
And according to Simpson’s rep, the OK! magazine story reporting that Jess and Tony broke up was “utterly false.” Cindi Berger told press, “I’ve spoken to both Jess and Tony, and they are completely secure in their relationship and won’t let this garbage get under their skin! That rag completely fabricated and made up this story.”

According to tabloid reports, friends of Romo have said that they believe their relationship is serious and that an engagement could be just around the corner.
“I think they’re going to get married,” pal Michael Starr told Us Weekly magazine, while Romo’s ex said: “They’re perfect for each other. They’re both funny and wonderful and kind. I’m rooting for them.”
