Jennifer Love Hewitt: Party Hostess
Jennifer Love Hewitt: Party Hostess
Sure, Independence Day was actually Friday, July 4th. But that didn’t stop Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiancé Ross McCall from extending the festivities over the weekend.
The “Ghost Whisperer” babe and her Scottish stud beau threw a belated Fourth of July soiree yesterday at their home in Toluca Lake, California. And they covered all of their bases.
For catering, the sweethearts rented an ‘In and Out Burger’ truck to feed all of their guests. Talk about a California-style affair!
At one point, Jennifer was spotted toting around a barefoot child in a diaper, looking like a very natural potential mother. After all, she and Ross could have a little family expansion in the works one of these days!

Jennifer Love Hewitt: Bicycling Bliss
While some celebrities need a high-profile, super-stretch limousine to get around town, Jennifer Love Hewitt seems to prefer her Paul Frank Scurvy Bicycle to get from point A to point B.
The “Party of Five” cutie was spotted tooling around on her bicycle yesterday in Toluca Lake, California in a grey t-shirt, cutoff denim shorts and a pair of circa-1985 Nike hi-tops.
The day before, Miss Hewitt enjoyed the company of her fiancé Ross McCall as they made their way around Burbank, eventually grabbing a bite to eat at the Market City Café.
J. Love recently nabbed a Saturn Award for her hit television show “Ghost Whisperer” with an upcoming fourth season this October.
Dennis Hopper to star in Crash
Dennis Hopper is set to star in the new original series Crash, produced by Starz and Lionsgate. This is the first drama series for the network. Based on the Academy Award-winning movie, Crash has begun filming in New Mexico and Los Angeles. Sanford Bookstaver (Jericho, Bones, The O.C.) will direct the premiere episode.
According to the press release, the show “will continue to focus on an ensemble cast of characters” and “will explore the complexities of social tolerance in contemporary America by digging at the meaning of what it takes to reach the American dream.” Hopper will play Ben, a veteran, maverick producer in the music biz who is looking for his last big score. Other stars include Clare Carey, Luis Chavez, Ross McCall, Jocko Sims, Brian Tee, and Arlene Tur. Crash will come to Starz in October.
Watch your backs, HBO and Showtime! This show looks good. And Paul Haggis is on the team of executive producers. He didn’t just give us Crash. He gave us thirtysomething and The Black Donnellys. Don’t mess with the Hag.
J.Love: No Wedding Date, but Hello, Honeymoon
“We’re waiting to sort of find a date that’s perfect, where we can actually get married and have a real honeymoon and not have to rush back to work right away.”
