Kim Kardashian’s Holiday Shopping Spree

With her football hunk boyfriend by her side, Kim Kardashian engaged in a little Independence Day shopping in Hollywood on Friday (July 4).

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashian’s” star looked her usual lovely self, clad in a flowing summery dress with matching sandals while her beau, Reggie Bush, kept things casual in a white t-shirt, jeans and sneakers.

Meanwhile, as previously reported by , Kim has proudly announced that she’s in the development stages of her own signature fragrance, and she hopes to have it on the shelves of your local department stores by Mother’s Day 2009.

She’s always been so kind and accommodating with the paparazzi.  But yesterday, Kim Kardashian was showing signs that she wasn’t such a big fan of the shutterbugs anymore.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” hottie was spotted out and about in Hollywood, California doing some shopping and running some errands.

And much like her celebrity colleagues who have been wearing “I Want More Privacy” t-shirts, KK was sporting her own message - “This is not a photo opportunity” - on the front of her shirt.

Meanwhile, according to Kim’s blog, she’s in the development stages of her own signature fragrance, and she hopes to have it on the shelves of your local department stores by Mother’s Day 2009.

Jessica Simpson: Goodbye NYC, Hello Dallas

Drawing a close to her visit to New York City, Jessica Simpson packed her bags and headed over to LaGuardia airport on Wednesday to fly back to Dallas, Texas.

As one final stop before her departure, the “Come On Over” singer made time for lunch with a few friends at the Mexican restaurant Dos Caminos in Soho.

Meanwhile, Miss Simpson recently revealed plans to launch a lingerie line as an addition to her existing fashion products.

Jessica told Women’s Wear Daily: “I like different lingerie for different occasions. I think that’s the best thing about it. You can feel sexy or girly depending on your mood.”

Press reports tell that the range, named Jessica Simpson’s Intimates, will hit shelves in major department stores in the US and online beginning spring 2009.

Is Madonna Mad About New Tell-All?

Madonna, Christopher Ciccone, Diane Sawyer

Is Madonna a wee bit nervous about her brother Christopher Ciccone’s about-to-be-released memoir?

Considering the two have been on the outs for some time now, Ciccone’s book, Life With My Sister, isn’t expected to be a puff piece.

Madge may be so upset by the tell-all that she’s been meeting with lawyers in London to talk about her possible legal options to stop publication.

“When she was meeting with lawyers and everyone was saying it was because she wanted to divorce Guy, she was really meeting with them to get the book killed,” a source tells me.

Madonna’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, isn’t commenting on Ciccone’s tome, but insists the Queen of Pop has not conferred with any attorneys. A rep for Ciccone’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, declined to comment.

Also, Diane Sawyer may have either secured or is very close to securing Ciccone’s first on-camera sit down. “Simon & Schuster has been talking to Diane’s team for two weeks,” the source says.

What about serialization of the book? Vanity Fair seems like the likely candidate. Considering how the magazine just skewered Bill Clinton, don’t be surprised to hear that Editor-in-Chief Graydon Carter is willing to now take on the wrath of Madonna.

The Simon & Schuster rep said, “We have not confirmed the first interview or serialization yet.” And a rep for VF said they have no plans to serialize.

Life With My Sister is set to hit shelves July 15 with a whopping first printing of 350,000.
