She has been spending time in New York City with Ryan Adams as of late, but yesterday Mandy Moore looked to be getting back to her normal routine on the West Coast.
Given the beautiful weather in Beverly Hills, the “All Good Things” songstress saw fit to get a little shopping in, following a visit to a friend’s house in Sherman Oaks.
Sporting a semi-see-through white caplsleeve t-shirt and skin-tight black leggings, Mandy emerged from the exclusive department store with a shopping bag in one hand, and a wad of cash tips in the other. Talk about being prepared!
In related news, Miss Moore was recently the topic of conversation between talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and American Idol winner David Cook.
Cook told Kimmel that he desperately wanted to win AI in hopes of using the sudden celebrity status to arrange a meet-up with Mandy, though his hectic schedule hasn’t permitted him to do so as of yet.

Kristen Bell’s Holiday Boutique Outing
Two days after joining striking writers on the picket line, Kristen Bell was spotted out making preparations for the impending party season by hitting the hot boutique “Rumor” in Sherman Oaks.
According to paparazzi on the scene, the Heroes star “tried on a variety of day and evening outfits as she browsed the exclusive clothes store for the perfect outfits to see her through the festive period.”
Back to the writers’ strike, just this past Tuesday, Bell joined her fellow Heroes castmates, talking to IGN TV about “the strike, its effect on Heroes and her thoughts on the situation.”
The transcript reads:
IGN TV: You’ve got fans out here today walking with you. In general, have you found that they are very understanding about why the strike is happening at this point?
Bell: I think people are trying to understand. I mean it’s a little confusing to everybody when anybody goes on strike. They always think they’re making inappropriate demands, but I think in this case word has gotten out enough that the writers are just looking for some fairness.
IGN TV: Did you have many conversations with the writers on Heroes as the possibility of the strike grew more likely?
Bell: Oh my gosh, yeah. It was like anxiety 24/7. We were all just sad, because we knew it was coming and it was the lesser of two evils. It was nerve-wracking for everyone. Nobody wanted it to happen; nobody wanted it.
IGN TV: What was it like when the strike began and you were still filming?
Bell: Obviously we were all very much in support of the strike, so there was a little bit of anxiety when you had to cross the line. But we looked at it like it was written prior to this and we were simply honoring our commitment to what they had already written. And then after that, I think we’ve all stayed pretty strong with the fact that everybody’s now going to be supporting the writers… Because we have no scripts!
