Arriving back home in Los Angeles following a NYC promotional trip, Vanessa Hudgens enjoyed one night’s rest before meeting up with her “High School Musical” boyfriend Zac Efron for a trip out of town.
The Disney co-star couple were spotted exiting a limousine earlier today (July 4) - boarding a private jet one at a time to avoid being photographed together… for the time being.
Meanwhile, a helping hand was spotted carrying a travel-ready surfboard over to the plane, leading to suggest that Zac and Vanessa are undoubtedly looking forward to a little beach time together.
And with fellow “HSM” star Ashley Tisdale soaking up the rays with her beau Jared Murillo down in Hawaii, it doesn’t seem all that out of the question that we may just see a Disney foursome living it up in the island paradise.
Hulk Hogan to join his son in jail?
Now, that Nick Hogan is cozied up in a new cell for his prison sentence, his father might be joining him. VH1’s Matthew Muro is reporting that Linda Hogan, the Hulkster’s estranged wife, wants to send the former pro-wrestler to jail for not paying his portion of a Las Vegas condo, a property worth 4.2 milion dollars. If Linda gets her wishes, Hulk Hogan would be put in Pinellas County Jail in Florida, the very same jail that holds his son.
VH1 offers the following as reasons why Hulk has not paid his bills: “Is he short on cash? Probably not. Is he planning to hit the slammer intentionally to protect little Nick? No way. Or could it be that he’s trying to cut off Linda’s cash flow so that she can’t lavish any more gifts on her 19-year-old boy toy? Bingo!!”
That’s right. Linda Hogan is dating a 19-year-old guy named Charley. And get this: he went to school school with Brooke and Nick. Linda has apparently bought him a surfboard and a tattoo. And the sex? According to Linda, it’s the best she’s ever had. Eww.
Brooke Hogan, who’s VH1 spin-off show Brooke Knows Best premieres mid-July, talks about her family to the press: “You know, I thought we were one of the normal Hollywood families. It’s crazy watching it all fall apart, but I hope for the best.” I thought the same when I first watched Hogan Knows Best. Hulk was overprotective but caring. Linda was quirky. Brooke and Nick were typical teenagers (well, as typical as they could be growing up with the wrestling icon). And now, look at them. I almost feel bad.
Laurence Fishburne to Voice The Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four 2
Last week AICN reported that Laurence Fishburne would voice Galactus in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. They were WRONG! Fishburne will instead voice the Silver Surfer, who is played by Doug Jones.
The Surfer, who first appeared in 1966, was a young astronomer named Norrin Radd of the planet Zenn-La. Radd agreed to serve as herald to the god-like entity, Galactus, in order to save Zenn-La from the world devourer’s insatiable hunger. Granted enormous powers , a silvery appearance and a surfboard-like vehicle — all of which were modeled after a childhood fantasy of Radd, the Silver Surfer roamed the cosmos, searching for new planets for Galactus to consume. In the new film, the Fantastic Four will square off against the powerful Silver Surfer and the planet-eating Galactus. Galactus has consumed countless planets, resulting in the elimination of entire extra-terrestrial civilizations.
I always imagined the Silver Surfer would sound more like the traditional surfer (think Keanu Reeves) than Fishburne. But my knowledge of the character is pretty limited.
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer will hit theaters on June 15th 2007.

Looking terrific at 46-years-young, Heather Locklear hit the sandy beaches of Hawaii while filming her new movie “Flirting with 40″ on Wednesday (April 23).
According to an onlooker, “Heather spent all day filming various scenes in and out of the water. At one point she hurt her neck while purposely falling off the surfboard. The aging beauty then changed into a skimpy red bikini for a sunset shoot.”
The movie “Flirting with 40″ is about a woman (Heather) who goes on a vacation to Hawaii after a divorce. She takes surfing lessons and falls in love with the instructor - with romance and comedy ensuing.
Alongside Heather, Robert Buckley is playing the part of instructor. Vanessa Williams also has a role in the film based on a novel by Jane Porter.
