With a new California law banning drivers from talking on their cell phones while driving going into effect today (July 1), Cameron Diaz was armed and ready with her hands-free headset as she pulled up to the gym.
Wearing a white top with black workout pants, the “What Happens In Vegas” hottie quickly switched back to her normal cell phone routine upon exiting her car – briskly walking past paparazzi and inside for her sweat session.
Meanwhile, in related news, Cameron’s rep has nixed rumors that she’s engaged to model Paul Sculfor – which first started after Diaz was spotted sporting a ring that all-important finger.
Her publicist told E! News, “It is not an engagement ring. It is her own ring, designed by her friend, Lenore Marusak, for La Paix.”

And yesterday the reality-star-turned-designer was spotted looking like she was ready to feel the burn as she made her way into a convenience store.
LC sported a cap-sleeve, screenprinted long torso tee along with a pair of skin-tight shiny blue tights, sneakers, sunglasses, and her hair pulled back in a ponytail.
The “Hills” hottie emerged from the store with a bottle of Vitamin Water, as well as good old fashioned Aquafina water. After all, we wouldn’t want Miss Conrad getting dehydrated!

Just ask poor Jamie Lynn Spears, who’s feeling pretty uncomfortable now that she’s nearing the end of her pregnancy.
“She’s feeling so large and just feeling all the discomfort that comes with it,” a source close to Jamie Lynn tells News.
The pregnant teen has also been hit with some mild cramps for the past two days, our insider says.
“Sounds like some false labor pains,” says the friend. “But nothing serious enough to go to the hospital over. They called her doctor, but everything’s fine.”
At least the pregnant teen has plenty of support…
Daddy Casey Aldridge is doing his best to make her feel better, rubbing her back when the cramps kick up, says our source. And her mom is at her side, pitching in with last-minute nursery decorating. But the humid summer heat plaguing Mississippi (where the parents-to-be own a home) isn’t helping. Even a brief trip outdoors leaves her sticky with sweat.
“Britney apparently called her recently and ordered her to stay inside, under the air conditioning, as much as possible,” the source says. “It was really cute.”
Britney and father Jamie have been calling regularly to check in on the mommy-to-be, who is expected to deliver at the end of this month. Unless, of course, the baby’s late.
“Jamie Lynn knows first babies have a habit of being late,” says the pal. “And she isn’t too happy about it. I think she’s ready for all this pregnancy stuff to be over and the mommy stuff to start.”

You know you’ve really made it as an actor when Grauman’s Chinese Theater asks you to come on over and immortalize your hand and footprints. And Will Smith has really made it as an actor.
The “I Am Legend” actor looked to be enjoying all the pomp and circumstance associated with the big event, even taking some time to clown around for the cameras. And fellow actor/BFF Tom Cruise was in attendance, talking up the “Fresh Prince” star.
Tom told press, “I feel honored to know him and his family. When I get around him I feel inspired. We push each other and we need that. We share that same level of reality and commitment that we have to our craft and to our family. It’s fun. Wherever Will Smith is, that’s where the party is!”
And, believe it or not, the “Minority Report” stud is a big fan of Smith’s music. “He is an extraordinary artist. When I was doing Born on the 4th of July, his music got me through that picture.”
As for Will’s chances in a race against Tom’s wife, Katie Holmes, Cruise has his doubts. “Kate is fast! I said to Will, ’she ran a marathon, we’ve got to see if we can’t run a marathon. She did it!’ The day after she ran the marathon I was at the hotel and got in the elevator drenched in sweat and I smelled… I said, ‘Listen, when your wife runs a marathon, you’ve got to get on the treadmill the next day!’”
