Jennifer Love Hewitt: Bicycling Bliss

Jennifer Love Hewitt: Bicycling Bliss

While some celebrities need a high-profile, super-stretch limousine to get around town, Jennifer Love Hewitt seems to prefer her Paul Frank Scurvy Bicycle to get from point A to point B.

The “Party of Five” cutie was spotted tooling around on her bicycle yesterday in Toluca Lake, California in a grey t-shirt, cutoff denim shorts and a pair of circa-1985 Nike hi-tops.

The day before, Miss Hewitt enjoyed the company of her fiancé Ross McCall as they made their way around Burbank, eventually grabbing a bite to eat at the Market City Café.

J. Love recently nabbed a Saturn Award for her hit television show “Ghost Whisperer” with an upcoming fourth season this October.

Kim Kardashian is a Golden Nymph

Kim Kardashian is a Golden Nymph

She’s been having a ball in Monte Carlo this week, and yesterday Kim Kardashian attended the Golden Nymph Awards at the Monte Carlo TV Festival.

The brunette beauty looked stunning in a navy blue evening gown as she posed with her mother Kris Jenner, in a ruffly pink dress, and sister Kourtney in a black halter-style number.

Kim has been keeping all of her fans up-to-date on her life’s happenings via her blog.  Here’s what she had to say about the opening day of the Monte Carlo Television Festival:

“We just had a very long press day in France… It started at 8:30 a.m. in the morning and lasted until 5:00 p.m.! All in all, it was very exciting because we got the awesome opportunity to meet with almost every radio station, television show, newspaper and magazine in the country! They are still in season 1 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Isn’t that funny!?”

Heroes gets the Greatest American Hero

William KattAccording to an interview with Newsarama, the actor William Katt who is best known from the ’80s television show The Greatest American Hero will be appearing in a guest starring capacity on the NBC show Heroes. He is playing a reporter that is pursuing Ali Larter’s ’Nikki’ character (who, given this information, likely survived the explosion that ended last season).

“I just filmed it last week,” Katt says. “I play a really, really wonderful, seedy, smarmy-mouthed reporter that goes after Ali Larter. It was a lot of fun.”

When comparing Heroes to the superhero show he once starred in, Katt says “It’s more Hitchcockian. It’s a more dark and seedy look at the world of superheroes. It’s offering to television viewers what some of the better comic books do…Tim Kring is just an extraordinary writer. And I think there’s no end to his creativity. He’s kind of mad, in an insane way. And that always makes it interesting. There are a lot of twists yet to come.”

My only question is: will he tell the other heroes where to find the instruction book?

Dads secretly love Dancing with the Stars, apparently

Dancing logoFather’s Day is this Sunday, June 15, and in celebration TiVo conducted a poll to find out which TV shows that dads say they hate but they secretly love. This is like looking into the secret diaries (you know, the ones with those flimsy little locks on them?) of dads around the country, but here are the results:

1. Dancing with the Stars
2. Grey’s Anatomy
3. Desperate Housewives
4. Access Hollywood
5. TMZ

I think this poll has revealed one thing: most dads in the United States are…women?

OK, I kid, but I’m a little surprised that shows like Dancing with the Stars and Access Hollywood/TMZ are in the mix for shows that dads love. I thought a guilty pleasure might be wrestling or cartoons (which actually was number one when asked which genre of television show they secretly loved), but Grey’s Anatomy?

By the way, America’s Top Model was in sixth place.
