Eagle Eye Movie Trailer - What Do You Think?

Paramount/DreamWorks just released a new theatrical trailer for Eagle Eye, which I’m guessing must be attached to prints of Wanted (which hits theaters this Friday). The new D.J. Caruso-directed fast-paced race-against-time-thriller which stars Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan as “two strangers who become the pawns of a mysterious woman they have never met, but who seems to know their every move. Realizing they are being used to further her diabolical plot, they must work together to outwit the woman before she has them killed.”
The trailer picks up where the teaser left off, and doesnt let up. Is it just me or is this film looking better and better? The action looks intense, and need I remind you that the movie is based on an original idea from Steven Spielberg?! Watch the trailer below and tell me what you think in the comments!

Zack and Miri Make a Porno Teaser Trailer

Kevin Smith has released the first internet teaser trailer for Zack and Miri Make a Porno. The teaser trailer appears to be a set of improvised lines or outtakes, from a scene where Zack and Miri are auditioning potential cast members for their porno.
“Don’t call it a trailer, ’cause it’s not a trailer; it’s a teaser,” warns Smith. “There ain’t a frame of footage in this puppy that’s in the actual flick, so feel free to watch it without fear of ‘spoilers’. This is just a little something to give you a bit of a feel for the flick.“
The internet teaser gives us a good idea of the vulgar-infused humor we should expect from the film. Check out the trailer below, and as always, tell me what you think in the comments!
“You’ll get plenty of footage in the actual trailer when it drops. A teaser’s just supposed to tease.”
Rumor has it that the film’s theatrical trailer will be attached to Pineapple Express, which also happens to star Seth Rogen.
Zack and Miri are two lifelong friends who are so deep in debt that they decide to enlist the help of their friends to make a porno movie for some quick cash. But as everybody starts “doing” everybody, Zack and Miri realize that they may have more feelings for each other than they previously thought. The film stars Seth Rogen, Elizabeth Banks, Craig Robinson, Traci Lords, Katie Morgan, Ricky Mabe, Jeff Anderson, and Jason Mewes.
Zack and Miri Make a Porno hits theaters on October 31st 2008.
American Teen: Meet Hannah and Jake

I can’t say this enough, American Teen is my favorite film of 2008 so far (you can read my review from Sundance). Nanette Burstein, the Academy Award-nominated filmmaker of On The Ropes spent one year following a group of teenagers during their senior year of high school. The movie won the directing award at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, and has been playing the festival circuit to rave reviews ever since. I can’t stress to you how great this film is. I know, at first glance it might look like MTV’s The Hills to some people (evident in the comments for the theatrical trailer), but trust me, there really is no comparison (probably because this is 95% real). I’m sure film festival audiences wouldn’t sit through The Hills - The Movie, never-mind give it a standing ovation.
The heart of the movie for me, and most people, is Hannah, the “rebel” art-student who dreams of leaving her midwest town to go to California to become a filmmaker. Paramount Vantage has put together a series of Character Teaser Trailers. Some of them do a disservice to the film, but I’ve included the trailers below for the two most interesting characters (at least from my perspective, which might say something about me), Hannah and Jake (”the geek”). American Teen hits theaters on July 25th 2008.
Quid Pro Quo Movie Trailer

Magnolia Pictures has released the theatrical trailer for Quid Pro Quo, the new thriller from Carlos Brooks. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival to good reviews. My friend Scott Weinberg at Cinematical wrote that it was “worth seeing for the two leads alone”, and described it as “a low-key cross between Garden State, The Waterdance and Cronenberg’s Crash”. Yeah, pretty weird combination. After watching the trailer I’m not quite sure if I’m interested or not. Actually, I’m quite confused and find myself wondering how someone would come up with such a story. Tell me what you think.

Official Plot Synopsis: Isaac Knott (Nick Stahl) is a Public Radio reporter in New York City. When he was eight, his mother and father died in an automobile accident that left him in a wheelchair. On air, Isaac recounts how he recently received an anonymous tip from someone identified only as “Ancient Chinese Girl.” She tells him a perfectly able-bodied man walked into an emergency ward downtown, and attempted to bribe a doctor into amputating his leg. As Isaac investigates the eerie tip, he encounters Fiona (Vera Farmiga) who, through her own quandary, leads Isaac to a netherworld of people afflicted with a perverse desire to be disabled. Like a contemporary noir detective film, QUID PRO QUO follows Issac as he embarks on a dream-like journey to pull back the layers of what makes people feel whole. Through the lives of two people on a search for the truth, QUID PRO QUO explores the human psyche and asks disturbing questions about what it means to be injured, and what it means to be healed.
Quid Pro Quo will hit theaters on June 13, 2008.
