Chris Martin: Thanks for the Mammaries
Or at least for the over-the-shoulder boulder holder that carries ’em.
Chris Martin, who burst on the scene with his band Coldplay a few years ago with the song “Yellow,” found himself seeing pink during the group’s performance on the Today show Friday, when an overzealous fan decided to toss the troubadour a token of appreciation.
No word on who threw it, but personally, we’re hoping it wasn’t one of Willard Scott’s centenarians.
James McAvoy Visits Today Show
James McAvoy Visits Today Show
With his co-star Angelina Jolie occupied with the impending birth of twins, James McAvoy has been working overtime to promote the new film “Wanted.”
James was spotted heading into the Today Show studios at Rockefeller Center in New York City this morning looking ruggedly handsome in a black v-neck t-shirt, dark jeans, and a leather jacket.
McAvoy, along with his wife Anne-Marie Duff have been spending a ton of time in the Big Apple prepping for the big opening of “Wanted” this Friday, June 27th.
And according to press, James is quite the unexpected stud. “The diminutive McAvoy might have seemed an unexpected choice for this sort of kickass role, but the always inventive thespian proves he’s got a bit of Russell Crowe in him as he brandishes an impressive amount of muscle, grit and anger. He may be one of those rare actors who can do just about anything.”
Rihanna Rocks the Today Show
Rihanna Rocks the Today Show
No press tour in New York City would be complete without a stop at the Today Show. And Rihanna graced the Summer Concert Series stage this morning with a frenzy-stirring performance.
The Good Girl Gone Bad donned a ballerina-style black dress with a multi-colored ruffle and a black train conductor’s hat and a pair of massive black heels as she charmed the audience at the Rockefeller Center stage.
And if you haven’t gotten your fill of Rihanna’s latest album, there’s good news- she’ll be releasing a seventh single off of the ‘reloaded’ version of the album in August.
The song, “Rehab,” was written by superstar duo Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, and features a very What Goes Around…Comes Around-esque vibe.
Billy Ray Rehashes Miley’s Photo Flap
Just when we thought we were out, Billy Ray Cyrus pulled us back in.
The country star and father of Miley has spoken out for the first time about his daughter’s topless Vanity Fair photo shoot, giving his take on the controversial shots on this morning’s Today show.
“I didn’t know they were gonna strip her down and wrap her in a blanket,” he said while promoting the new season of Nashville Star.
“My dad always told me, the more you stomp in poop, the more it stinks. So I was just, ’OK, this happened. We got to deal with it,’” he said, before relaying words of wisdom once given to him. “The turkey with the longest neck’s always going to be the one everyone’s shooting at.”
Wait, did he just call Miley a turkey?
