The couple that travels together, stays togetheror, at least, so says rocky-relationship queen Jessica Simpson.
Pals close to the music scene’s newest country crooner say Jessica is planning a quick summer get away for herself and beau Tony Romo.
“She thinks they need some quality alone time,” says friend of Jess, who is still reeling after her relationship reached the breakup brink.
“She believes a vacation will really do a lot to reconnect them. Tony agreed to go, but it was all Jessica’s idea.”
Timing, however, is a problem. Jessica’s crazy busy with photo shoots and interviews to promote her soon-to-be-released country album. And Tony starts football training camp July 24.
“But she’s determined to squeak out a week together before then,” says her pal. “So if she has to clear the decks on her own schedule to make it happen, she so will.”

Sure he’s fast, but NFL star Reggie Bush had a little trouble keeping up with girlfriend (and Keeping Up With the Kardashians star) Kim Kardashian’s sense of humor in an interview with People. Asked about a ring she was wearing, Kardashian told the mag, “I’m about two months’ pregnant right now and we’re getting married on Aug. 8 of 2008.”
People noted that Bush appeared stricken until she added, “It’s a joke.”
Good one, Kim. Giving Reggie a heart attack is perfect cardio preparation for NFL training camp, which is just about to begin.

Do I attend the birth of my child with Bridget Moynahan, or do I celebrate the birthday of my new girlfriend Gisele Bundchen? An interesting choice that Tom Brady was recently forced to make after his ex, Moynahan, announced a scheduled C-section birth, just so happening to fall on the same day as Gisele’s birthday.
The date of the scheduled surgery was intentional according to Moynahan, but not because it had anything to do with Gisele. Rather, the date was chosen so that the New England Patriot quarterback could attend the birth of his child, as Brady starts football training camp tomorrow (July 27).
The approaching birth of Brady’s child has created a strain on his relationship with Gisele, with insiders pointing out that, “Tom wants to be in the delivery room. But it’s causing problems with Gisele. She doesn’t like that Bridget is calling so much.”
“Of course they still talk. But it’s only ever about the baby,” is the rebuttal from a friend of Bridget. Since birthdays come around every year, this is going to be an ongoing issue for years to come, so don’t forget to mark down the date July 20th, 2008 as the next potential Moynahan vs. Gisele bout over Brady.
