Chicane vs Natasha Bedingfield - Bruised Water Lyrics

My skin is like a map, of where my heart has been
And I can’t hide the marks, but it’s not a negative thing
So I let down my guard, drop my defences, down by my clothes
I’m learning to fall, with no safety net, to cushion the blow

I bruise easily, so be gentle when you handle me
There’s a mark you leave, like a love heart, carved on a tree
I bruise easily, can’t scratch the surface without moving me
Underneath I bruise easily, I bruise easily

I’ve found your finger prints on a glass of wine
Do you know you’re leaving them all over this heart of mine too
But if I never take this leap of faith I’ll never know
So I’m learning to fall with no safety net to cushion the blow

I bruise easily, so be gentle when you handle me
There’s a mark you leave, like a love heart carved on a tree
I bruise easily, can’t scratch the surface without moving me
Underneath I bruise easily, I bruise easily

Anyone who, can touch you, can hurt you, or heal you
Anyone who, can reach you, can love you, or leave you

So be gentle
So be gentle
So be gentle
So be gentle

I bruise easily, so be gentle when you handle me
There’s a mark you leave, like a love heart, carved on a tree
I bruise easily, can’t scratch the surface without moving me
Underneath I bruise easily,

I bruise easily, so be gentle when you handle me
There’s a mark you leave, like a love heart, carved on a tree
I bruise easily, can’t scratch the surface without moving me
Underneath I bruise easily, I bruise easily

I bruise easily
I bruise easily

Missy Plans August Party

Missy Elliott

Missy Elliott’s working the Party scene.

The multiplatinum-selling rap star has announced her latest studio album, Block Party, will drop in August, but a specific release date has not been set.

The new, dance-heavy record was originally due to drop in May, but, according to Billboard, it was postponed to give her more time to finish the tracks, which feature assists from such all-star producers as Soul Diggas, Pharrell, T-Pain, Danjahandz, Point Guard and her favorite collaborator, Timbaland.

Elliott told the trade she settled on Block Party for the title because it’s “one of those albums you can play out in the streets.

“This album is probably more musical and melodic than my previous ones,” she said. “A lot of my albums are really hip-hop driven, with tinges of other music genres. But this album is hip-hop, with a sort of U.K. hip-hop sound to it.”

Among the tunes already confirmed for the set is “Ching-a-Ling,” which premiered on Elliott’s website and MySpace page and served as the lead single for the soundtrack to Step Up 2: The Streets, released back in January.

Other songs include’ “Hip-Hop Don’t Die,” featuring Jazmine Sullivan, the Timbaland number “Shake Your Pom Pom,” “Milk & Cookies” and “Best Best,” which will be Block Party’s first single and video. Among the guest vocalists rumored to be on board are Keyshia Cole and T-Pain.

Terrence Tunes Up, J.Lo Tunes In

Terrence Howard, Hustle & Flow

Terrence Howard has completed the hustle. Now he’s letting listeners in on his flow.

The Oscar-nominated actor has set a Sept. 2 release date for his long-promised debut album, Shine Through It.

Produced, written and of course performed by Howard, the Columbia Records release already counts two music vets as major fans: a couple of up-and-comers named Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez.

“They heard it…[Anthony] was like, ’This is so incredibly sick,’ ” Howard told News. “Marc Anthony asked me to come on tour with him so I can sit there and watch…He wants to show me the way to perform this as honestly as possible. Lost his mind over it. He’s like my best friend now. Because he respects the music.”

Looks like it won’t be hard out there for the pimp this time around.

Vanessa Hudgens Fine Tunes New Album

Vanessa Hudgens Fine Tunes New Album

Prior to her Saturday night on the red carpet in Palm Springs, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens kept up with a busy schedule set for the recording of her new album.

The 19-year-old cutie was spotted meandering her way to a music studio in Santa Monica, sporting a beige button-down sweater over a maroon top with black pants.

Accessorized by her trademark oversize sunglasses and a pair of stylish, unstrapped white boots, Vanessa proceeded to spend some time fine-tuning tracks before the late May/early June expected release date.

So far, “two title tracks have been revealed - “Whisper” which is described as a sexy new style for Vanessa as she teases a guy over a rythmic beat and another “It Feels Right”. Also, a song titled “I Will” which has been written by Hilary Duff has also been confirmed.”
