Would You Like a Side of Ranch With That Derena?
Ah, if only this weren’t for the CW cameras, right?
Despite ongoing rumors that Penn Badgley and Blake Lively may be romantically linked in real life and despite this smoking-hot, sucky-face photo that just leaked out of the Hamptons (hot!), a source who works on Gossip Girl tells us (spoiler alert): “I’m pretty sure that’s for the show. They do kiss in the first episode.”
Regardless, the eye candy above should sweeten your day if you’re a fan, because not only does it mean Dan and Serena might not be totally over, it also comes with this news from the same insider: “The Hamptons episodes look amazing.” Did you hear that? Episodes. Turns out, Gossip Girl will be in the Hamptons for episodes one and two for the upcoming season.

Rumor Patrol: Rashida Jones in Office Spinoff?
Consider this only a rumor for the time being. However, word has been rippling through the TV biz today that Rashida Jones (aka Karen Filippelli, presently of Utica, N.Y.) may star in the upcoming NBC spinoff of The Office.
Sounds pretty amazing for Office (and Rashida) fans like us, so we did a little digging. Here’s where this stands: While one inside source (who has always been reliable) says “it’s true” that Rashida will be a part of the new series, another source inside Rashida’s camp says, “As far as I know, she has not been approached.” Hmmm…

Gossip Girl Boss Says Spinoff Rumors Are Not True
Attention, Upper East Siders: “Little J” has not left the building.
This is the latest coming out of Camp Gossip Girl after the Hollywood Reporter reported this morning that executive producer Josh Schwartz and his crew are working on a Gossip spinoff, most likely surrounding Taylor Momsen’s character, Jenny Humphrey (aka Li’l J), who was the subject of a spinoff series for the Gossip books.
But Schwartz himself says the rumors are not true.
“Not sure how this got out there, but no plans for spinoff at this moment,” Schwartz tells me. “The books do have a spinoff, but we have nothing in the works right now other than making sure season two gets off to a great start.”

Heroes Adds a New Villain
Yep, it’s true. Sources confirm that Francis Capra has been cast on Heroes. We’ve also exclusively learned that Veronica and Weeviler, Elle and Jesse, do share at least one scene. Former Veronica Mars costars Capra and Kristen Bell together again? Hallelujah!
Sources tell us Francis is doing a three-episode guest arc as villain Jesse Murphy, a thug who runs with a gang of two-bit criminals. However, Jesse is more than just a meathead. He does have a power. When and where will it be deployed? You’ll have to watch to see.
