The day has finally come, as the first picture from Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz’s wedding has been released thanks to People magazine.

As previously reported by , the Outta My Head singer and her Fall Out Boy beau tied the knot in the backyard of Ashlee’s parents house, which had been converted into an Alice in Wonderland-themed spectacle.

And to make sure that no guests could try to cash in on the affair, there was plenty of security to keep everything just as Papa Simpson desired.

To this note, guests weren’t able to bring cell phones or cameras into the wedding/reception.  “You could step out and make a call, but you had to check the phone in before returning back inside. It wasn’t a big deal. Everyone there gets it.”

Fresh off of a promotional stop in London, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz packed their bags and headed over to Germany for a red carpet appearance.

The newly engaged couple attended the 2008 Bravo Supershow, which was held at Arena Nurnberg in Nuremberg, Germany on Saturday (May 3).

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old “Outta My Head” singer was recently asked by Heat magazine whether she and Wentz would be partying at their wedding reception to some of sister Jessica’s tunes.

Obviously against the idea, Ashlee quickly replied: “No, that would be really nerdy.” And as for the pregnancy rumors - no questions were answered, as could be expected.

Reports from the wedding tell that the guest list included Ashlee’s big sister Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend, Tony Romo, along with engaged Hollywood couple Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.

For the big day, the “Pieces of Me” singer wore “an ivory lace wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier accessorized with a diamond necklace and earrings by Neil Lane.”

And to add even more buzz to the evening, Ashlee “officially revealed her pregnancy to everyone at her wedding reception,” reports OK! magazine.

It was definitely one of the most anticipated weddings of the year, and Saturday night Ashlee Simpson married her boyfriend/babydaddy Pete Wentz.

The wedding took place in the backyard of Ashlee’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson, which had been converted into an Alice in Wonderland-themed spectacle.  And there was plenty of security to keep unwanted guests out of the tents.

Nicknamed “The Joe Simpson Show,” the wedding was described as “magical and beautiful” by an inside source.  Not only did Papa Joe walk the “La La” singer down the aisle and give her away to Wentz, but he also flipped around and performed the ceremony.

Throughout the ceremony, Joe, Jessica, and Ashlee were all spotted crying, with Daddy Simpson commenting, “Pete is a very patient guy.”

As far as her wedding dress, the “Little Miss Obsessive” songstress sported an ivory Monique Lhuillier gown, while her bridesmaids were clad in Vera Wang… very nice!

Following the lavish ceremony was a killer reception with dinner and drinks.  But according to one partygoer, Jessica wasn’t having a very good time. “Jessica did not look happy the entire night.  She just wasn’t her bubbly self.  She was very subdued, and she and Tony [Romo] barely interacted the entire night, except for some dancing at the end.”

“You could tell she was really happy for her sister, but that maybe she was a little bit sad that things aren’t working out as well for her.”

To help insure privacy, guests weren’t able to bring cell phones or cameras into the wedding/reception.  “You could step out and make a call, but you had to check the phone in before returning back inside. It wasn’t a big deal. Everyone there gets it.”
