Ashton Kutcher Films “Spread”, Gets New Co-Star
MTV Punk’d star Ashton Kutcher was busy filming scenes for his latest movie “Spread” in Los Feliz on Monday (March 3).
Visited on the set by his wife Demi Moore, Kutcher changed outfits twice and had his makeup touched up towards the end of another hectic day’s worth of filming.
The movie is described as “a sex comedy centered on a serial womanizer and his jilted lover,” with Ashton playing the young womanizer role.
Meanwhile, it has just been announced that Anne Heche has agreed to star opposite Kutcher in the indie romantic comedy, replacing Jennifer Jason Leigh.
“Leigh dropped out of the project on February 21 for undisclosed reasons, though it has been suggested that Leigh and her husband, Margot at the Wedding director Noah Baumbach, are expecting a child,” reports tell.

Although Jacinda Barrett was born in Australia, her all-American good looks and convincing accent have paved the way for numerous acting roles in the USA. Tall and slim, with long honey blonde hair and a freckled, fresh-faced appearance that belied her sophisticated poise, Barrett left her home of Brisbane, Queensland at age 17 to pursue a modeling career on an international level. In addition to her modeling and television credits, Barrett began an entry into film with a featured role in the independent horror thriller “Campfire Tales” (1998). She honed her craft in indie fare while occasionally landing higher-profile gigs in films such as “Urban Legend: Final Cut” (2000) and the Sam Shepherd-penned telepic “See You In My Dreams” (2000). Barrett’s film career took a quantum leap forward when she was cast by director Robert Benton in his adaptation of Phillip Roth’s bestseller “The Human Stain” (2003). In a flashback sequence, Barrett delivered a touching performance as Steena Paulsson, the unsuspecting blonde, Midwestern girlfriend of young Coleman Silk, a man of mixed race passing as white, whose revelation to Steena is both surprising, cowardly and cruel. With her star on the rise, Barrett next garnered starring roles in high visibility projects, including the firefighting drama “Ladder 49″ (2004) as Joaquin Phoenix’s love interest, and the comedy seequel “Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason” (lensed 2003).

Jennifer Aniston’s new man is already making headlines for his alleged past indiscretions. Less than a week after People magazine revealed the details on Jennifer’s new British model boyfriend, Paul Sculfor, News of the World has a source who claims that Paul was so addicted to cocaine that he used to spend $900 a day on his sniffing habit.
A source for the British news agency said that Sculfor was joined by fellow British supermodel, Kate Moss, during his cocaine partying days and that once the two of them even got high before a meeting with South Africa’s Nelson Mandela while on a trip to the country for a fashion show.
The insider stated, “As Mandela was inviting guests into his house, Kate nipped into a toilet and started doing cocaine. I remember Paul telling me, ‘We were totally wrecked. Kate and I were so off our heads we couldn’t remember what we said to Nelson Mandela. And we couldn’t stop laughing about it’.”
At the present, Sculfor is thought to be clean from the drug, but it wasn’t easy. To kick his habit, Paul checked into The Priory Clinic in Southgate, north London, at the beginning of 2004.
“Most people attend a 28-day program, but he needed six months to get sorted. He had a rich friend to pay for it. Afterwards he went to Cocaine Anonymous every day. He’s still a regular and meditates every day to try to stay clean,” the source said.
Making things even worse, drugs are said to be just one of Sculfor’s many “problems”. Rumors emanating from his circle of “friends” claim Sculfor to be a womanizer and a control freak.
One of these “friends” went as far as saying, “Jennifer should get out while she can. If he can behave like that, what kind of person is he?”
Nonetheless, Miss Aniston is still said to be smitten over her new beau… hopefully all of this doesn’t come back to haunt her in the end.
